What a Wonderful World: Turning 35 and Taking Stock

Today I turn 35.. a big landmark in anyone’s life.. almost a half mark (should one be lucky to live till 70)

Reflecting back, my life seems to be like a crazy graph of High highs and low lows but there is not a moment that hasn’t contributed to who I am today. Yes, there are incidents I would like to erase from my life/memories and I would say the same for some people as well but even with all that, I have had the most epic kinda journey.

What continues to be invaluable to me is keeping elders happy, people around me laughing, doing what I can to make this world a little better than I found it.

I still struggle with some aspects of my life, keeping my tongue in check when it comes to food I like and of topics I am passionate about.

But with all that, I am still my best ever self yet with a constant need to want to improve and be better and the world around me has been generous and gracious in Leaps and bounds in my journey.

I have everything that I could ever want for and most things that I need. All my loved ones are near me, maybe not as healthy as I would like but I can talk to them and tell them I ❤️ them.

This is how I sum the last 35 years for my life..

I see trees of green, red roses too

I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They’re really saying I love you
I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They’ll learn much more than I’ll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world

Till later!
