Today was my first day at work after 2 glorious weeks of sun, food and ocean.. I was in LA enjoying some well deserved time off with my husband.. just the thought of that makes me smile and reminisce.

He went back yesterday.. back about 8000 miles to his parents and to be the good son he is. As soon as he left, I turned on my back to school mode.. something I remembered from my school days..after the long summer holidays, those first few days of school where how people look and feel has changed.

I put myself in a corner and started reading my emails.. 1400 of them to be precise which I reduced to 600 that I read all day today.

While today brought back some regiment in my life, it also came with some stability..knowing that you are still needed at your job. People around you value your input and only hard work will make you successful..anyone who thinks otherwise needs to just live long enough to experience their first downfall to know it..
