It was weird.. packing your bags and heading to a foreign land not in the hope of a better future but really to just do my job a little bit better.

I am an Indian and then a woman and then married and to give some more context, I am moderately successful at my job and have a very very supportive husband and family who have been my pillar yet have pushed me to be independent. So earlier this year, I packed up some of my things and moved.

I live in the Bay now (read San Francisco) and I have the most beautiful views of the bay and the bay bridge. Every day I walk to work and every evening walk back thinking what I would do for dinner that day before I dive back to my work.

With this blog, I hope to share some of my experiences, thoughts and things I have enjoyed the most living here in the US and journey as an expat.  Hopefully will also get me into a habit of writing almost.. daily.. (I have very high hopes for myself and am probably being delusional here..)
